Renault Arkana: a simplified range and new prices

 

Renault launched new models and with them new finishes. There is therefore a break between its new models which adopt the recent range structure and the models already marketed in the old finishes. A simplified range

Renault has therefore chosen to simplify the range of its Arkana coupé SUV with 3 finishes, still offering a fairly wide choice to drivers. Thus it offers 3 levels of finishes with the Evolution, the Techno and the Alpine Spirit. In addition, the choice of engines is also simplified since there are still 3 possible solutions with the E-Tech full hybrid 145 hp engine and the mild hybrid 140 and 160 hp petrol engines.

According to Renault's statement, the objective is a diversified but controlled range allowing a reduction in production costs, thus resulting in lower rents.

Evolution

The Evolution finish is the entry level of the Renault Arkana and offers the following equipment for the price of €31,000: hill start assistance, the tire pressure monitoring system, the electric parking brake, the rear parking aid, lane departure warning, automatic switching on of the headlights, automatic switching of the headlights between high and low beam, automatic wiper, emergency braking with pedestrian detection and bicycles, the speed limiter and regulator or the recognition of traffic signs.

As far as the design of this version is concerned, the most accessible is fitted with 17-inch Bahamas alloy wheels or full LED front headlamps. On board, there is an infotainment system with 7-inch touchscreen including Apple Carplay and Android Auto compatibility and the Arkamys Classic audio system with 6 speakers, 4 electric windows, Renault card with opening and hands-free start and automatic air conditioning.

The Techno finish is equipped for €32,600 with an electric parking brake with the auto-hold function, blind spot warnings and parking exit warnings in reverse. The design is more opulent by offering a front bumper with an F1 blade, a black roof liner, 18-inch diamond-cut Silverstone rims, full LED performance front headlamps. Inside there is an induction smartphone charger, the 9.3-inch easy link infotainment system and 10.2-inch color instrumentation, the multi-sense with driving mode and the electrochromatic frameless rear-view mirror automatique.
