INEOS Grenadier Quartermaster: ready for the toughest expeditions
If many people know the name of INEOS Grenadier, it is mainly for the manufacturer's commitment to cycling and popularized on the Tour de France by sponsoring one of the most successful teams in the peloton having won two stages in quick succession. coup with Michał Kwiatkowski and Carlos Rodriguez in 2023 but also for winning the 2019 edition of the Tour with Egan Bernal. A successful team that highlights a bold manufacturer who is now presenting a new model.
A pickup version of the Grenadier
The INEOS Grenadier is the toughest looking off-roader on the market today. Indeed, it takes up most of the codes that made the success of the Land Rover Defender or the Mercedes-Benz G-Class in the last century, while the latter two gave in to the call of modernity.
To go even further, INEOS is now presenting a pick-up version of its Grenadier called the Quartermaster. For the occasion, it adopts a chassis 305mm longer than the current version, which allows it to offer a loading space 1.62 m wide and 1.56 m long. With these dimensions, it can load a European pallet of 1,200 by 800 mm. It should therefore be practical for contractors, especially since its loading capacity is 760 kg, leaving the possibility of seeing ahead. However, if that is not enough it can still tow up to 3,500 kg.
This new INEOS Grenadier Quartermaster model was presented at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The price is announced from €75,790, the price of a Jeep Wrangler 4xe. However, in France, the INEOS Grenadier Quartermaster will suffer an ecological penalty amounting to 50% of its price. It should therefore exceed the bar of 100,000€. It is therefore not certain to come across them frequently on our roads, too bad because this pick-up has some dog. The opening of orders is scheduled for August 2023.
